Move Your Business Data Safely, Without Stopping Work
If a data move goes wrong, you can't just rebuild what was lost. So we plan everything first. We map each field and relationship from your old system to the new one, then run both side by side until the numbers match. You get a fixed price and a fixed date, and we don't switch anything over until the data checks out.
Planned Migrations
We map every field and relationship before a single record moves.
Data Integrity Protected
We check your records against the original before you switch over.
Minimal Disruption
Your old system keeps running until you're happy with the new one.
What is a database migration?
A database migration is the job of moving your business data from one system to another. That might mean leaving spreadsheets, an Access database, or an old CRM for something that fits how you work today. A good migration also cleans the data up, links related records, and checks every number against the original.
What you get
- A migration plan that maps every field and relationship from your old system to the new one
- A database designed around how your data actually works, not just a straight import
- Your data moved over, with duplicates removed and every record checked against the original
- A period where both systems run together, so the old one only goes read-only once your team trusts the new one
- Notes on what moved where, so nobody has to rely on one person's memory
Who this is for
- Teams stuck with an old CRM, a legacy system, or an Access database nobody wants to touch anymore.
- Businesses running on a pile of spreadsheets and tools that only line up because someone copies and pastes between them.
- Anyone who's outgrown their current tool and wants to move without losing years of history.
- Ops leads who can't have the business grind to a halt while the move happens.
What we typically build
Legacy system to Airtable
You export from the CRM, Access database, or in-house tool you're leaving. We clean it, remove duplicates, and set it up properly in Airtable instead of dumping it into one big table.
Spreadsheets to a real database
Your Excel or Google Sheets files have quietly become something the business depends on. We rebuild them as linked tables, so the connections between records are built in and nobody has to keep them in their head.
Multi-source consolidation
Your data lives in several tools. We bring it together in one place, sort out the duplicates, and make sure you can trace every record back to where it came from.
Airtable base restructuring
Maybe you have several bases that should be one, or a single base that grew without a plan. We move it into a clean structure without breaking the things that already depend on it.
What it costs
Moving one source into a new base is usually Migration Starter: $2,500 over 10 days. Pulling several sources together, cleaning the data, and running both systems in parallel is Migration Pro: $5,500 over 3 weeks. If you're leaving a big legacy system or merging lots of sources, it becomes a Custom Build.

How it works
- 1
Plan the migration
We look closely at the system you're leaving, including the workarounds your team relies on. Then we map it to the new structure and give you a fixed price.
- 2
Design, then move
You sign off on the new structure before any data moves. If data goes into the wrong shape, it has to be moved twice, and nobody wants that.
- 3
Reconcile, then switch
Both systems run side by side until the numbers match and your team is comfortable with the new one. Only then does the old system go read-only.
Frequently asked questions
How do you protect data integrity during the migration?
We check every record against the original before anything gets switched over. Afterwards, your old system stays available in read-only mode, so nothing is deleted. If the numbers don't match, we don't switch.
How long does a database migration take?
Moving a single source usually takes about 10 days. Combining several sources, with cleanup and a parallel run, takes around 3 weeks. Either way, you'll have the date in writing before we start.
Will the business have to stop while the data moves?
No, and that's the point of running both systems in parallel. Your team keeps working in the old system, and we bring across any changes made during the move before the switch.
Can you migrate from a system you have never worked with?
Usually, yes. Nearly every system can export its data. The real work is figuring out what that data means, not the file format. If an export turns out to be incomplete, we'll tell you on the call before we quote.
