Essential Growth Coaching Platform
A SaaS coaching platform built with Softr, Airtable, Stripe, and Supabase that enables coaches to manage scheduling, payments, client onboarding, and business operations through a centralized portal.
The problem
A startup set out to build a premium SaaS platform for sports coaches that centralizes scheduling, client management, payments, and business operations. The goal was to create an intuitive experience where coaches could onboard quickly, manage their availability, invite clients, accept online payments, and eventually expand into messaging, workout management, and digital marketing features. Development was planned in phases, with an MVP focused on core scheduling, payments, and coach/client visibility before expanding into advanced functionality.
What we built
Developed the MVP architecture for Essential Growth, a multi-role coaching platform designed to simplify business operations for sports coaches. The solution includes automated coach onboarding, subscription payments through Stripe, profile creation, client invitations, role-based portals, and a premium scheduling experience inspired by Calendly but fully integrated within Softr. Coaches can configure recurring availability, booking preferences, session limits, buffers, and client capacity while clients receive secure invitations to create accounts and book appointments. The platform architecture incorporates Airtable as the operational database, Supabase for scheduling capabilities, Make.com for workflow automation, and custom React components embedded within Softr to deliver an enhanced scheduling experience. Future roadmap phases include client messaging, SMS reminders, workout management, Meta Ads integrations, digital marketing tools, onboarding videos, and advanced automation while maintaining a scalable SaaS foundation for long-term growth.
