Private Membership Platform for The Academy Network

The problem

Robert Treiber initiated the development of a secure, invitation-only membership platform called The Academy Network. The goal was to create a trusted digital environment where vetted professionals can collaborate, share information, and access exclusive opportunities. The platform required structured access control, privacy enforcement, and scalable features for future monetization such as paid memberships and sponsor integrations. The MVP focused on building a functional Softr + Airtable application with strong emphasis on user integrity, international accessibility, and content sharing capabilities.

What we built

The Academy Network platform was developed as a secure, members-only ecosystem designed to facilitate trusted collaboration among professionals. Built using Softr and Airtable, the application includes controlled user authentication, strict privacy policies, and credential protection mechanisms to ensure exclusivity.

Key features of the platform include a structured onboarding system with international support (country and U.S. state dropdown selection), a dynamic Info Share section allowing members to post content such as files, images, and text, and a dedicated Sponsors page for promoting partner content and external links.

The platform also incorporates a comprehensive Privacy, Access & Affiliation Policy to maintain integrity and confidentiality across the network. Branding elements such as the official logo were optimized and implemented across responsive layouts for both desktop and mobile.

Future scalability considerations include paid membership tiers, premium visibility options, sponsor/vendor expansion, and external service request capabilities-making the platform adaptable for long-term growth and monetization.
