PlatformOne – Interactive Sales Map & Inside Sales App Stabilization
Development of a custom interactive store-level sales map with clustering, popups and filters, plus a full discovery, audit and stabilization of PlatformOne’s Inside Sales workflow across Softr, Airtable, and Make.
The problem
PlatformOne engaged support to build a high-performance interactive map for 21,000+ Canadian retail stores with POS-enabled filtering while simultaneously addressing issues across their existing Softr + Airtable + Make ecosystem. The work includes stabilizing the Inside Sales App, fixing routing/UI issues, simplifying workflows affected by project creep, and designing a scalable mapping module aligned with PlatformOne’s styling.
What we built
The project focuses on two core objectives:
(1) Build an embedded interactive map inside the Softr app that visualizes 21k+ Canadian retail stores from Airtable, supports clustering, shows POS sales data for ~6k stores, and includes filters for retailer and brand. The map must be styled to match PlatformOne’s brand and delivered with documentation for updating the data source and popup fields.
(2) Conduct a structured 3-hour discovery and audit across Airtable, Softr and Make for the Inside Sales workflow. This includes reviewing schema integrity, diagnosing broken logic caused by project creep, assessing mapping errors (e.g., group-by issues), cleaning header/login behavior, improving task workflows, and providing a roadmap for automation and UI improvements.
The broader ecosystem includes three Softr apps (main PlatformOne, retailer portal, and the Inside Sales App), Make automations, Fillout forms, and Google Cloud. Additional future work may include an Affiliate Partners portal modeled on Softr’s partner directory.
