Softr + Airtable learning management system for delivering structured courses, tracking learner progress, and managing enrollments and roles.

The problem
Course content, enrollments, and learner progress were being handled across disconnected tools and manual tracking.
There was no single place for learners to access structured courses, for instructors to manage content, or for an administrator to see who was progressing and who was stalled.
What we built
A role-based LMS on Softr + Airtable that centralizes content delivery, enrollment, and progress tracking in one branded portal.
Students / learners, instructors, and admins each see role-appropriate views over a single shared data layer.
- Structured course → module → lesson catalog with gated, sequential content delivery.
- Enrollment management connecting learners to the courses they're entitled to.
- Progress tracking with completion status per lesson and per course.
- Role-based access for students, instructors, and admins.
- Mixed-media lessons (video, documents, links) delivered inside the portal.
- Assessments / quizzes and completion tracking to confirm learning outcomes.


How we built it
Softr provides the learner-facing and admin interfaces over a clean Airtable schema (Users, Courses, Lessons, Enrollments, Progress). Visibility rules gate lessons to enrolled users.
Progress is written back as learners complete content so dashboards stay accurate. CustomJS handles the dynamic delivery and progress logic that Softr alone doesn't cover.
