XR Recruiting Platform — Softr UI Revamp & Funnel Automation

The problem

David Moore, founder of Xcelerate Recruiting (XR), partnered with our team to transform his Softr-based recruiting platform into a polished, mobile-first web app connected to Airtable. Initially, XR’s interface and onboarding flow felt incomplete, and data integrations were inconsistent across pages. Over several sprints, we led a full front-end redesign, implemented advanced user flows, automated Airtable syncs, and introduced interactive dashboards for both athletes and coaches. The project evolved from a 2-day polish request into a full product buildout — integrating payment funnels, dynamic XP tracking, team dashboards, and scalable data architecture.

What we built

The Xcelerate Recruiting project focused on transforming a no-code prototype into a production-ready SaaS application for high-school athlete recruiting. Starting with a Softr app connected to Airtable, the engagement included:

– Applying brand-consistent global styles from Figma for a clean, responsive UI.

– Redesigning the Athlete Dashboard with dynamic XP tracking, Challenges, Quick Stats, and Engagement Logs.

– Developing a Coach Dashboard with team-level rollups, roster filters, and “Players Needing Attention” insights.

– Re-architecting onboarding and payment funnels (Stripe → Thanks → Role Select → Onboarding → Dashboard).

– Building new “Playbook” functionality for weekly and monthly challenges linked to XP automation.

– Integrating visibility logic (logged-in/out rules, redirects, Paid group gating).

– Implementing mobile-first dark mode layouts and marketing landing pages (/ and /phenom).

Throughout multiple phases, we coordinated closely with XR’s development team to align Airtable schema, maintain functional automations, and ensure seamless UX between data and design. The result was a fully branded, scalable, and conversion-optimized recruiting platform ready for national launch.
