Custom Media Uploader & Map Integration for Softr Real Estate Portal

The problem

Chalsey Alina, founder of Easiva Taiwan, required advanced customization of her existing Softr-built web application. The primary challenge was replacing Softr’s native media uploader with a more powerful solution that allowed agents to preview, reorder, and efficiently manage property photos. Performance issues with large galleries and limited preview functionality prompted the need for a dedicated media layer.

Additionally, the project included implementation of an interactive location picker with coordinate handling, ensuring accurate map functionality without relying on Airtable. The solution involved integrating Google Cloud services to manage image hosting, server-side logic, and coordinate processing, while preserving the live application’s stability through staged testing in duplicate forms.

The engagement was structured with fixed-budget components for the media uploader and maps functionality, along with hourly consulting for ongoing workflow design, database architecture review, and optimization of the agent portal.
