The problem

The MVP was only ~30% complete and unstable: broken user flows, permission/visibility routing errors, redirect loops, pages showing the wrong content, no reliable match logic, and a messy Airtable schema producing duplicate and orphaned records.

The founder could not confidently onboard real beta users.

What we built

We completed, stabilized, and polished the MVP into a production-ready beta that both clinics and therapists can use reliably.

Therapists, clinics, and admin each operate on their own session-aware flow with clean profile linking and matching.

• Dual signup + multi-step onboarding for therapists and clinics, with automatic user → profile linking and redirect rules.
• Session-aware page routing and visibility that eliminates redirect loops and permission errors.
• Therapist directory with filters, a job directory for therapists, and embedded clinic profiles.
• Job posting flow for clinics (Active / Paused) and a therapist interest flow that creates Match records with idempotency checks (no duplicates).
• Cleaned-up Airtable schema (Users, Therapists, Clinics, Jobs, Matches, Locations) with sound links, lookups, and formulas.
• Automations for signup/profile linking and notifications, plus handoff documentation and a QA report.

How we built it

We reviewed and rebuilt the Airtable schema for data integrity, then implemented session-aware visibility and a clean URL-parameter map (jobId / therapistId / clinicId) to fix routing. Match creation was made idempotent to prevent duplicate records.

Make / Zapier automations handled profile linking and notifications. The Softr UI was polished for consistent branding and mobile, and the build was validated with four test accounts plus a documented QA pass and maintenance guide.
